The Zoo

We went to the zoo this week. Matt hadn't been in over a year so it was his first time seeing the new Kid's Cove. When they showed him the pretend cow you can "milk", Noah briefed him on it.

"It's not a milking cow. It's a watering cow!"

We learned about the tortoises.

Have you ever read something and simultaneously looked ahead to something else? As I was reading about "milking" I was looking at the picture of the rhinos and as I'm reading it I'm thinking "I didn't know you could milk a rhino" That's some really brave hearty farmers those...rhino-milkers! A dying breed...literally

Oh Karen, don't make me laugh so hard or I'll wake up the boys!

Karen Hevesy, you crack me up!!!

Kristie, looks like you guys had so much fun. Not quite as memorable as if you'd milked a rhino, but hey...

Who's that red-headed kid beside Noah in the "milking cow" picture? Is that Kaleb Sluss? ;)

Karen - we saw those same Rhinos nursing their babies last time we were there....I guess you can milk them. ;)
